Description and notes
Lavinsky states that "the finest specimens of descloizite ever found came from Berg Aukus. These world-renowned pieces are extraordinary in both their size and crystallization. These pieces have set the standard of excellence for this zinc analogue of mottramite. It is because of Berg Aukus that we know how good descloizite crystals can actually get. This piece is filled with many thick, tabular, sharp, lustrous, reddish-brown color "spearhead-shaped" crystals measuring up to 1.7 cm with minor matrix. No real damage that I can find, outside of the base where the piece was removed from the pocket wall.
